I had a nice wedding at UVA Chapel last month. These have to be two of my all time favorite ceremony pictures.

This is an engagement session I did for Jennie and Tyler. They are getting married this weekend at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. They are both gorgeous people and they are great to work with. I’m looking forward to this wedding!

My bride this past Saturday decided late in the week she wanted to do a picture at the Jefferson in between the ceremony and the reception. Naturally it was too late to get a permit, so we just went for it!
There was no 50 person wedding party and the image didn’t require scrims, reflectors or electricity. We used the light God gave us and took 5 minutes in the park. I hardly think there was any impact to visitors.

Channel 9 reporter Cindy Pena called on Tuesday and asked if I would agree to be interviewed for a story they were doing on the new Park Service permit fees. I went down to the Tidal Basin and joined my good friend Matt Mendelsohn for the interview. Cindy was great and I certainly appreciate being asked to participate.
Man, I need a haircut!
With all the hubbub going on about the permit fees for photography at the mall and monuments, I thought I would post a few of my favorite monument images.
